Scoring Summit 2010

The Big Easy was home to the inaugural Scoring Summit, May 5-6 at Hotel Monteleone.  In addition to enjoying hurricanes, beads and killer Cajun food, attendees walked away from New Orleans with a strong understanding of real-time scoring and its power to innovate marketing processes. 

Whether the 160 attendees were scoring beginners or pros – educational sessions, case studies and panel discussions provided new information and a fresh prospective on real-time scoring and analytics.

The agenda began with a keynote address from the CEO of TARGUSinfo on the evolution of marketing data and analytics, followed by an introduction to the different levels of scoring in “The Crawl, Walk and Run of On-Demand Scoring” session. 

Case studies and panel discussions delivered by representatives from preeminent companies such as ADP Dealer Services, Bosley, Clearwire, EDMC, Edmunds.com, LendingTree, Sylvan Learning and Westwood College provided a ‘real world’ perspective on real-time analytics, and how they can be used to maximize marketing channels and investment .

Renown author Ian Ayres spoke about his book, Super Crunchers, and the new breed of business decision makers who are predicting consumer and business choices by analyzing millions of bytes of information to gain greater insights into buying behaviors.

The Scoring Summit wrapped up with an enjoyable networking reception at New Orleans landmark Pat O’Brien’s – a great end to an information-packed 2 days!
