The 2nd Annual Scoring Summit returned to the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans May 10-11. The 200+ attendees from a wide range of industries convened to learn and discuss how real-time scoring and analytics can help power business decisions.
The event kicked off with educational pre-conference tracks, including a “Lead Scoring Boot Camp” that introduced scoring to novices, and “Going Beyond the Score,” which took scoring applications to the next level. Soon after, the interactive industry-specific “Ask the Experts” panels began, providing an open forum for questions and interactions with current users of scoring.
The information-packed program continued with general sessions, which included case studies and panel discussions from industry-leading organizations such as Bankrate Insurance, Bosley, Inc., ClassesUSA, Clearwire, Grantham University, Rosetta Stone and Verizon Wireless.
Attendees also heard from analytics experts, such as keynote speaker Nate Silver (of FiveThirtyEight.com) and Forrester Research Inc. analyst Srividya Sridharan, both of whom addressed the application of data for scoring in today’s competitive business environment.
In addition to the kick-off party at House of Blues on Tuesday evening, the Scoring Summit attendees enjoyed a closing reception at the Hotel Monteleone Rooftop Pool and Riverview – a great conclusion to a compelling and information-packed event!
