2009

Sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas. For attendees of the 2009 Online Lead Quality Summit, that’s a very good thing — walking away with valuable industry insight and network connections.
What started off as a small industry event with little fanfare has turned into an annual “must attend” tune-up for new ideas and strategies for more than 300 senior interactive marketers.
The agenda rocketed off to a fast start on Wednesday with the Summit's first pre-conference workshops with the industry specific tracks for Automotive, Education, Finance and Display Advertising immediately following. Included in the first day of festivities was a TARGUSinfo track that allowed attendees to engage and learn how to make the most of working with TARGUSinfo.
Stewart Butterfield, co-founder of Flickr, and Polly LaBarre, author of “Mavericks at Work” delivered bookend keynote addresses that enthralled the audience by recounting how far the Internet has come and how to keep innovation moving forward by keeping everyone in your organization pointed in the same directly.
Attendees were treated to a full day of general sessions that blended the growing impact of social media and display advertising on online lead generation industry. Representatives from Yahoo!, Facebook, Razorfish, IAB, Admarvel and a host of others discussed challenges, anecdotes and successes and what they anticipate moving forward.
Beyond the agenda of 36 speakers, industry awards, the afterhours networking receptions and live music, the 2009 Online Lead Quality Summit was an exhilarating two days. We look forward to seeing you all in 2010!
