We are currently looking for an exceptional application software engineer to join an agile software development team solving the difficult problems the Internet local search industry is facing today. This is an opportunity to participate in all phases of the software development process and actively develop on a multi-tiered high availability architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Initial participation in the design phase will evolve to leading the design phase:
- APIs
- Services
- Frameworks
- Active involvement in multiple software development environments:
- C++, C#, PL/SQL
- Exposure and adoption of progressive quality control methodologies:
- Unit testing
- Application Testing
- Stress & Performance Testing
- Internal Technical Documentation
- Level-3 Technical Support
- Participation in 7/24 on-call technical rotations
- Production system monitoring
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Object Oriented Design
- Prerequisite: C#, C++, SQL §
- Preferred: Oracle Objects, XML, Unit Testing
